Navy & Mustard

Been a while since I’ve done an outfit post… so, BOOM!

What I wore:
Navy Corduroys and Mustard Top, both by Pilcro, from Anthropologie.

Hope you’re all having a fantastic week!

Wishlist Wednesday: Sparkle and Flow

I suggest listening to this song while looking at this post (and at all times):

I have been really into pretty, flowy things lately… especially when there is a tasteful dose of sparkle to go along with it!

From top to bottom: Free People sparkle maxi, Pretty painting by Autumn Rose on Etsy, Modcloth flowy dress, Anthropologie cobalt necklaceASOS sequined top dress, ASOS sequined cutout dress, Amethyst rings by Native Hearts on Etsy

What trends are you liking these days?

Calligraphy-ling delightful

Can’t wait to have dinner with Melissa at The Smith tonight! It has been far too long.

AND, Abby and Justin move into the city on Saturday! Lots of great and exciting things happening right now.

Belt: Urban
Tights: Banana Republic

Thanks for taking a look! xo

Mellow Yellow Top

Not my most original post title… forgive me? haha

I went to Kristen’s awesome birthday celebration last night! We started at Spitzer’s for dinner, which has one of the most unique and delicious beer menus I have ever seen in NY!  Their food also happens to be scrumptious. (Don’t you love that word? Scrumptious? Scrumdiddlyumptious! ha… haha…)

After dinner we headed over to Pianos, which was crazy fun with lots of dancing.  The DJ is pretty awesome, and our dance moves were even more awesome. Fact.

I may or may not have broke out into “the worm” at one point… some dudes and Jackie may or may not have cleared the dance floor prior to this, to give me ample room… (I did. & that happened.)

Me, Kristen and Harrison

All in all, it was a pretty fab night.  And a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kristen today!

My outfit from last night:
Top: Anthro
Skirt: Anthro
Belt: New York & Co
Tights: Gap
Earrings: A boutique in Florence (Miss it SO much. Take me back!)

Hope you all are having spectacular starts to the New Year like I am! xo

Pleats be kind

AND SO… to continue on with my tradition of using cheesy song lyrics as the title of my posts, I of course chose a song by none other than ‘Ol Blue Eyes / Francis Albert Sinatra: my favorite artist of all time. ALL time.
ANYHOW…
The outfit I wore today!
I was in a fantabulous mood today, and it felt pretttttty awesome.
That is Pride and Prejudice on my ottoman.  Giving it another read!
The gorgeous necklace mom gave me for Christmas.  This will definitely be a wear-with-every-outfit-and-never-take-it-off kind of necklace!  I think it also layers well with my other long necklaces.
Another accessory that I will be sporting a ton that I rediscovered the other day! (haha, sporting.) So simple, but I really had forgotten how much I love headbands, and bows! I have another hair bow that I made that I will share soon.
LOVE this skirt.  I think the pleats are very fun yet classic.  I also paired it with a sheer top that has some pleating as well!
Evidence of my sheer happiness today! (Sunshine! Rainbows! haha) Gotta love Instagram.

What I am “sporting”: (apparently I am using this a lot today)
Sheer top: Anthropologie
Camisole/slip:  Pure & Good from Anthropologie
Skirt: Leifsdottir from Anthropologie
Tights: J Crew
Boots: Liz Claiborne

A live recording of Frank performing “Please Be Kind” (swoon)
Enjoy! xo
